Vice President, Channel Partner Solutioning

Mastercard's Global Acceptance team focuses on making Mastercard the best way to pay everywhere. With our powerful suite of products such as Click to pay and Card on File tokenization, we are working on shaping the payment experiences of the future and making payments simple and secure.

Overview

We are looking for a VP to lead our Channel Partner Solutioning team, which works with some of our largest acceptance partners (e.g., Payment Gateways, Payment Facilitators, ISVs) to co-create and design the best-in-class payment experiences using Mastercard’s products. This is a global role that sits at the intersection of product innovation, engineering and customer excellence and provides an incredible opportunity for learning and career growth. This role will lead a very strong, global, and diverse team of 15 vastly experienced product professionals and SMEs, who are expert in the payments and shaping the payment the trends in the payment ecosystem.

Role :

• Lead and manage a global team of SMEs across different regions and implement a plan to scale Click to Pay and Card on File tokenization through Channel Partners

• Define vision and objectives for the team and provide necessary support to the team to help achieve the objectives

• Provide day to day leadership on delivering best consumer experiences, creating scalable solution architectures and guide the team in solving unique real-world challenges.

• Lead by example and build a strong culture of excellence, sense of urgency, customer centricity and winning with decency

• Lead customer and internal discussions and communicate situationally with technically literate and non-literate stakeholders

• Keep a close check on the pulse of the market and customers preferences and influence the product roadmap and provide thought leadership to the team, peers, and senior management.

• Manage partner and an internal escalation and provide effective issue resolution that minimizes the impact on the partners

All about you

• Professional experience in new product development and management, client facing consulting and technology

• Strong payment industry experience with prior track record of building/managing innovative payment products and high performing teams

• Strong hands-on experience and technical fluency with API integration or similar web-based technologies

• Familiarity with front end technologies e.g., PHP, ASP, .Net, Java, JavaScript, XML / HTML, SQL

• Strong focus on consumer experience coupled with very strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage C-suite executives with ease.

• Willingness to travel as needed

• Nice to have:

o Master’s degree

o Published thought paper on the topics associated with payment industry
