Specialist, Visual Design
Overview
Defines the design strategy and visual language for products and/or communications and applies principles of good design and established standards to the execution of B2B2C product experiences, B2B products and platforms, and branded experiences & communications
Related competencies include interaction design, experience design, design systems, motion graphics, illustration, and information design
Responsibilities
COLLABORATE
Participate in initiative-level sessions (feature definition, status updates, retrospectives, external design reviews, etc.)
Use research (user testing, recent studies, etc.) to help establish and define design elements for the best user experience
DESIGN
Recommend and implement visual design decisions on initiatives, influenced by prescribed standards and deep knowledge of initiative goals
Drive visual design best-practices to optimize UI and UX standards across all products and platforms
Analyze data, both customer and site, to determine areas for improvement for an enhanced user experience
LEAD
Contribute to the execution strategy of initiative
Demonstrate, and contribute to team values and culture priorities
Invest efforts in self-development goals and opportunities
Skills and Qualification
Hands-on experience in UX design
Proficient with industry tools such as Adobe, Sketch, and others
Demonstrate ability to support tactical outputs with support from mid-to-senior-level peers
Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Professional written and communication skills for working with stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proactive and motivated to learn
