The Regulatory Affairs team is looking for a Manager, Regulatory Compliance to drive the regulatory compliance program for Transfast’s money transmission products in North America. The ideal candidate is a compliance champion with deep experience in building and supporting compliance management programs and a background in payments and financial technology.
In this position, you will:
Provide subject matter expertise with respect to operational requirements, policies, and procedures to comply with applicable regulatory obligations.
Drive the design and implementation of compliance management policies and controls to effectively manage the regulatory risks related to account-to-account money transfer activity, such as US state money transmission regulation, FinCEN regulations, and Canadian federal and provincial MSB laws.
Conduct compliance monitoring and risk assessments, providing periodic compliance reports to senior management. Manage remediation efforts.
Coordinate regulatory examinations and management responses.
Identify and manage regulatory changes, assisting product owners to develop creative solutions to address new requirements.
Maintain strong industry knowledge of regulations, changes, trends and impacts to the business.
All About You
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• CRCM certification preferred
• Experience in cross-border payments, and developing and managing related regulatory compliance programs for large bank or non-bank financial institution
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian money transmission regulations, the US Bank Secrecy Act, escheatment law, and other applicable regulations, as well as industry best practices.
• Experience building compliance management systems, including performing compliance risk assessments, and performing regulatory compliance reviews
• Creative thinker able to support innovation while still managing risk
• Strong analytic capabilities and written and oral communication skills
