Overview

Digital First solutions enable our partners to provide entirely digital payment experiences for consumers, with a physical card option. By combining Mastercard products and services with qualified third-party partners, we support each step of the digital consumer journey all the way from acquisition and card usage to management, and engagement.

Payments are on the precipice of industry-wide change driven by consumer demands for immediacy and convenience, and digital first experiences are leading the way. 56% of consumers believe receiving and using digital cards instead of physical cards is a behavior that’s here to stay, and the pandemic has reinforced the need to meet consumers wherever they are. Mastercard’s Digital First Card Program, launched in 2019, continues to gain momentum as consumers seek out digitally-native, secure payments solutions.

Role

Accelerating the launch of Digital First Solutions is a key strategic priority for Mastercard. This will be accomplished by delivering an integrated consumer value proposition supported by go-to-market tools to support our regional teams, and leveraging partnerships to drive scale and distribution of Digital First solutions.

Responsibilities will include end-to-end ownership and management of the Mastercard Digital First Card Program (including program enrollments, process optimization, and reporting); acting as a key liaison to the Segment and Fintech Solutions team responsible for evaluating and qualifying third party partner candidates to support Mastercard customers in delivering against the Digital First consumer experience and support on data analytics, and KPI/performance reporting. In addition, the role will include the capture and transfer of best practices, and drive regional and cross-functional alignment to key priorities and strategic objectives.

All About You

You will have relevant experience in the payment industry, product management, product development, with experience in the consumer and digital payments space. You have a strong interest in digital payment solutions and initiatives and may have had recent involvement. You will have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to develop relationships and partnerships with a broad range of individuals across the organization.

• Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment including briefing and influencing management, to achieve goals

• Motivated, entrepreneurial, and a creative thinker to solve business challenges that arise

• Knowledge of the Mastercard product and services suite and those in the wider industry, with a particular focus on new and emergent technologies that may advance the digital first consumer experience

• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including PowerPoint, experience developing executive level presentations, and strong Excel aptitude
