Job Overview

Working in the Integration Engineering team, you will be responsible for the delivery of a robust, secure, Highly Available perimeter Web Services integration platform within Enterprise Architecture. This role will focus specifically on service consumer and provider onboarding; analysis, design, development and delivery of integration solutions and the development of standards and best practice for Enterprise Web Service integration within MasterCard. This role will work closely with Senior Architects within the Shared Services area, JAVA and Web Services development teams, Information Security and Web Engineering and administration teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop automation techniques for day-to-day system development and maintenance activities of the team.

Perform Service Integration Consulting with the purpose of onboarding Development teams to the XML Gateway.

Perform architecture review for quality, security and adherence to standards and best practices.

Improve existing platform capacity and performance management processes within Integration Engineering, with specific focus on XML Gateway.

Participate in 24/7 2nd level support rotation for the XML Gateway.

Perform Proof-of-concepts within MasterCard Technologies to evaluate software/frameworks/methodologies to enable MasterCard to be better, faster and cheaper.

Design, develop and promote standards and best practices for security within Integration Engineering.

Knowledge/Experience

Experience working in a large scale, internet facing, 24/7 organization.

Familiar with SOAP, WSDLs, XML, and related Web Services concepts and tools.

Knowledge of NGINX Plus, OAuth 1.0 & 2.0.

DevOps knowledge around containerization and container orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes

Extensive experience of Enterprise Systems Administration and proven ability in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl or similar.

Extensive experience of Internet and Web Technologies including good understanding of network protocols such as DNS, SMTP, HTTP, MASSL, SNMP and associated tools and technologies.

Good working knowledge of Load Balancing technologies.

Good working knowledge of CI/CD tools like BitBucket and Jenkin

Good working knowledge of infrastructure virtualization technologies and concepts

Preferred Skills

Experience in implementing and maintaining shared services, enterprise libraries in SOA architectures

Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, Digital Signatures)

Experience and fluent in agile methodology, with understanding of spiral methodology

Familiar with SAML and WS-Trust technologies.

Experience in an environment that has deployed Layer 7 appliances.

Experience defining standards for a large organization.

Education

Bachelor€™s degree required (Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field)
