The Digital Partnerships Account Management and Business Development team manages and strengthens Mastercards relationships with the worlds largest digital merchants, commerce enablers, and technology partners while driving Mastercard revenue growth from this key customer segment.
This person will be in a customer facing position and will be instrumental in helping identify new opportunities through management of existing and cultivation of new customer relationships across Digital Partnerships verticals including e-commerce retailers and service providers, on-demand services, ridesharing, marketplace, and fintech partners.
Influences Customer account strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations.
Provides insight in the analysis of customers business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis.
A key focus on this position will be to work closely across the team and cross-functionally across MasterCard to aid in the delivery of customized payment solutions that include remote and proximity payments, marketing and consulting support, while leveraging MasterCards strong brand, technology, network and Advisors assets to deliver bottom line results to customers.
Partner and support the team with new and existing customers to develop new revenue generating business opportunities, leveraging Advisors services and other MasterCard products or service enhancements.
Aid Mastercard and support the team in the ideation, development and merchant-specific value propositions that deliver products and services that address customer needs.
Participate where appropriate in negotiating, execution and management of customer contract agreements and processes throughout the complete lifecycle.
Collaborate with appropriate MasterCard business partners in Global Products & Solutions, MasterCard Technologies, Law & Franchise Integrity, Risk Management, etc. to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support.
Analyze customers businesses through published quarterly and annual reports, profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis.
Identify new prospects and local market needs through industry publications, fintech investment reports, competitive and value chain analysis.
All About You
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field required.
One to three years of work experience; mobile, electronic commerce and alternative payments knowledge helpful.
Knowledge of the card and payments industry, with particular emphasis on merchant and eCommerce industry trends, regulatory changes and card product evolution is a plus.
Ability to think from the perspective of the merchant customer, including technical matters.
Curious and open minded, driven and autonomous, logical and problem solver, optimistic and resourceful. Sense of humor a plus.
