Director, Business Development
This is a key position in the South Asia Business Development team and focuses on driving business growth, share and revenue working with banks, key digital players, device manufacturers, commerce enablers and technology partners.
This is a unique position pivoting between facing external and internal customers and will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, working with external and cross functional stakeholders in developing relevant value propositions and GTM plans and tracking performance against objectives.
You may be the right candidate if youre a strategic thinking, commercially astute business developer with strong interpersonal skills.
Deliver against volume, revenue, penetration and growth targets for identified initiatives across the Division with new and existing customers or identified strategic verticals.
Drive the ideation, development of customer segment specific value propositions that address customer or segment needs.
Strategic program management for large business initiatives and partnerships.
Develop GTM plans for new business opportunities and products
Develop pitches and strategy to penetrate new customers and strike strategic partnerships.
Develop strong working relationships with key influencers at customer banks and with MasterCard support teams /business partners in Market Development, Global Products & Solutions, MasterCard Technologies, Law & Franchise Integrity, Risk Management, etc. to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support.
Significant experience in Business Development and strategy in the Payments domain required.
B2B customer management experience needed.
Proven track record of results in setting up and growing businesses
Superior communication and influencing capabilities at a senior level in client organizations
Good analytical and structured thinking skills
