Individual Contributor

Provides a support function to the overall Project Manager in the areas of development and maintenance of projects plans and some post execution processes. Implements processes to better manage the administration, planning and financial needs of a division or department. Monitors compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Major Role Accountabilities:

Assists in the development and management of overall project plan, identifying and monitoring project risks and issues.

Assist Project Manager to ensure methodology compliance and report to management when necessary.

Ensure timely and accurate communication with Project Managers and management throughout the life cycle of the project.

Regularly communicate to management regarding the status of specific project deliverables.

Coordinate and assist in the implementation and monitoring of existing and/or revised project management rules and policies. Effectively deal with moderately difficult problems.

Assist manager in other ad-hoc tasks such as customer survey results tabulation and communication, and recurring presentations, track and gather documentation of projects€™ critical paths.

Communicate with Customer Delivery team to assess projects€™ status.

Run reports from data warehouse on initiatives critical paths.

Manage senior management agendas

Prioritize; schedules and coordinates resources

Provide administrative support in such areas as phone coverage; scheduling meetings; maintaining department records and making travel arrangements.

May maintain attendance records; expense reports and office supply inventory.

Compile and review data and/or materials for consistency and accuracy for reports and presentations.

Assist with budget tracking and resolve budget variances.

Manage and coordinate business administration policies and programs for a division or department and monitor compliance to corporate policies and procedures.

Write internal department communications and tracks responses.

May provide additional services such as tracking financial and management reporting; database maintenance; purchase requisition review and billing/invoice reconciliation.

May be responsible for tracking vendor agreements and contracts.

Organize annual planning activities and business unit objective setting.

Produce ad hoc reports for management.

May require preparation of presentations.

Key Educational Qualifications:

Thorough knowledge of project management required processes and techniques.

1 to 3 years of experience with structured methodology and project planning tools preferred

Experience estimating expenses and managing departmental budgets.

Knowledge of the payments industry preferred.

PMP certification preferred
