This exciting new role will give you the opportunity to work with Mastercards wholly owned program manager business. This business unit delivers end to end solutions to assist distributors to take prepaid products to market. We operate across 23 different markets with >10 million cards in issuance. In this newly created role the holder will use UX techniques and skills to bring to life new product enhancements. In this role you will be responsible for working within the Global Product Team to design the relevant enhancements required to increase engagement across the portfolio. This will require the use of UX techniques along with close collaboration across the team and wider business to deliver results.
Work with the product team to identify concepts which can be mocked up into wireframes and tested as part of the Product development process.
Design a product development vision through research, sketching, prototyping and testing experiences for prepaid products. Continual updating of the product development vision
Assess the existing product capabilities to identify potential improvement areas.
Use of user centred design techniques to test and improve ideas.
Collaborate with other members of product team and wider business.
Closely working with the developers to ensure that your designs are translated into the final product
Research into UX best practise and continual evaluation of competition and others in market
Three or more years of UX design experience especially in a user centred design environment.
Passion for solving problems in a way which excites and engages users.
Expertise in UX software such as Sketch, Balsamiq and InVision.
Ability to work with internal stakeholders and customers to identify and document requirements. Clear understanding of mobile-first and responsive design and able to translate these into practical ideas to enhance solutions.
Ability to rapidly iterate designs at low fidelity and then prepare at a suitable level for developers to produce.
Ability to communicate ideas to internal stakeholders and clients.
Ability to work in a matrix management organisation.
Be a passionate adopter of user centred design techniques as a way of identifying, testing and improving product features.
Must be confident at working independently with a proactive approach to communicating ideas
