Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) is a leading supplier of on-line payment and fraud screening services. As part of Mastercard, we are an innovative and ambitious market leader intent on growing our global presence. This position reports to the Manager, Market Product Management, Gateway Solutions. The Market Product Management team delivers on the gateway strategy in Europe, through cross-functional collaboration across the product, Mastercard’s European regional go-to-market teams, and customers.
This role sits at an intersection of customer, market, product innovation and engineering, and provides incredible opportunity for learning, organisation visibility and career growth.

•Provides analytical support for the development and evaluation of value propositions for products or customer segments within the region
•Assists in the creation of best practice documents for internal and external stakeholders
•Drafts materials such as training decks or parts of requests for proposal
•Maintains library of standard artifacts to support the products and customers in region
•Monitors parts of a larger project roadmap
•Ability to support technical discovery and solution development workshops with new and existing customers
•Support creation of solution and requirements documentation for development of new product features and or novel solutions to enable key customer projects
•Regularly interact with global product and technical teams to develop and maintain an expert level understanding of the products
•Work with local sales/product and global product teams in order to design payment solutions that meet client requirements
•Be responsible for European features roadmap for acceptance and digital technologies.
•Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, work closely with Product designers and engineers to define great solutions to solve
•You’re a creative product thinker who likes working with engineers and designers.
•Identify product gaps and prioritise and design features for a variety of personas
•As requirements of this role evolve, adapt to growing needs of the team and broader products organisation
All About You:
•Experience in a client facing consulting, training, or technical support role
•Payment Industry experience
o Credit card payments experience (card not present and card present)
o Understanding of operation of payment instrument types beyond credit desirable e.g. APM’s or account to account transfers (open banking)
•Experience supporting teams integrating API or similar web-based technologies into existing systems
•High attention to detail, adaptable, executes with a sense of urgency and good planning and organizational skills
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and provide recommendations
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Focused on continuous improvement both personally and commercially
•Proficient in MS Office Applications, Internet & Email
•You’re able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment
•You have a proven ability working in a cross-functional team, highly collaborative
