Overview

The European Large Market Commercial Product Team is responsible for growing Mastercard revenue, share and volume across the Commercial segment in both T&E (Travel & Entertainment) and B2B (Business to Business). To do this, the team takes an end-to-end approach by formulating market strategy, developing relevant products and solutions, packaging these products, articulating the value proposition to Issuers and their customers, and optimising the go-to-market process.

Role:

The European Large Market Commercial Product team is looking for Senior Specialist to help drive growth of our Commercial payment solutions. This role will:

• Lead the product management of the Central Travel Solution (CTS) product in Europe, including growth, analysis and onboarding of Travel Management Companies across the region

• Support the growth and management of commercial products and solutions, which includes, go to market support material for new and existing issuers

• Work closely with Mastercard account management, sales and business development to drive commercialisation of products, solutions and partnerships across the region

• Coordinate and drive the team’s involvement/sponsorship of industry events and issuer conferences

• Be the financial lead for the team including budget and accounts payable management

• Lead team’s reporting and management of KPIs and European financial results

• Highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and a strong team player

• Extremely organised and able to independently manage multiple projects and initiatives with varying scope concurrently

• Excellent relationship building skills; able to foster and maintain strong, positive working internal and external relationships across multiple business functions and markets

• Highly customer focused with a demonstrated ability to understand and respond to customer needs

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, able to clearly tailor the message to the audience and communicate complex products and processes

 Strong understanding of and interest in payment industry trends and competitive landscape with a particular interest in commercial (B2B or T&E) payments

 Background in corporate travel or B2B a plus

 Fluency in English is mandatory, additional European languages would be a plus
