One placement in particular where we are currently hiring is the following:
Director Product Operations - Billing, MasterCard Payment Gateway Services.
The position is based in London (Canary Wharf) at the headquarters of the Mastercard wholly owned subsidiary. The Director Product Operations -Billing will report into the Global Product Team and will be responsible for the end-to-end billing life-cycle. The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and streamlining end-to-end billing processes across multiple markets and platforms. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with excellent project management skills.
MasterCard Payment Gateway Services is at the center of the exciting and fast growing payment industry, with operations in the United Kingdom, South-Africa, Germany, Ireland, Australia and America. MasterCard Payment Gateway Services is doing business in over 70 countries across the five continents.
Part of the Product team, in charge of the end-to-end billing cycle, in this position responsibilities will include
Review, streamline, document, and implement processes and policies.
Define roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders
Standardize and automate all acquisition billing processes in line with Mastercard global billing services
Take ownership of product billing during the product development life-cycle, ensuring all new product features are supported in the billing processes and systems
Identify missed billing opportunities and revenue gaps and resolutions
Continuous review of manual billing procedures to identify tasks that can be automated and streamlined
Implement a process for periodic internal Audits of the billing function, e.g., to compare invoices to contract
Monthly dashboard, KPI and revenue reporting for main Billing metrics
Support Finance in designing and implementing standard pricing across different gateways
Support Market Product Management and Sales with designing and implementing new pricing structures in line with market needs
Key project team member for various billing projects and integrations

All About You
Strong project management experience Project Management certification a plus
Ability to structure and matrix-manage complex projects spanning geographically-distributed teams with different reporting lines
Experience defining and implementing billing processes and systems in complex recurring businesses Payments, Telecom, Insurance, etc.
Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills; ability to communicate with senior management
This role is for is for people who:

Have previous experience at mid-management level ideally gained in technology, financial services, and professional services organizations
