Director, Procurement & Supplier Management - Marketing Category
Sourcing & Supplier Management creates and maximizes shareholder value by effectively managing the MasterCard supply base globally, focusing on reducing cost & risk while improving value & supplier performance. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sourcing strategies for EMEA marketing (Agency, Media, PR, Digital, Production) annual spending across Mastercards EMEA business operations.

Drives strategic category management for marketing categories across large cross-functional teams
The right candidate will maintain all C-Level agency relationships in the markets and will heavily influence the business unit agenda in collaboration with the global and in country and regional agency leadership teams.
The right candidate will lead a high performing team with direct reporting relationships and matrixed relationships to deliver yearly goals set by the business.
Leads the development of marketing category strategies that enable spend management, improve agency performances and mitigates risk
Provides leadership with in-depth knowledge on market conditions, industry trends, product knowledge and emerging supply options
Supports relationships with strategic suppliers and may own relationships with select suppliers

Evaluate media place dynamics, explore channel partnerships across TV and Digital and negotiate successful deals across.
Monitor cost and quality competitiveness and benchmark Mastercards position in relation to ensure top tier performance.
Develop and establish strong relationships with key external media partners to garner first look opportunities
Ability to organize, manage, and work effectively to accomplish multiple tasks
Very strong analytical skills
