Manager - Business Development Commercial Payments
Reporting to Commercial Payments Lead for South East Asia market this role
Responsible for business development & sales of Commercial Payment solutions for assigned customers or assigned markets.
Form a vital link with product organizations along with MasterCard Account & Market development teams.
Identify opportunities to leverage specific products, to grow the customer and MasterCards revenues, while meeting strategic product objectives at the Divisional level.
Lead Product Sales efforts for assigned customers or markets, covering each of the product areas (B2B, T&E & SME ), focusing on key strategic objectives with principal emphasis on driving sales, revenue and profitability generation
Work with the Commercial Payments SEA lead in developing MasterCards sales strategy for assigned markets in conjunction with product leads, country business teams. as well as close coordination with customers.
Accountable for meeting key metrics (revenue, new product sales etc.) related to assigned customers or assigned markets
Work with MasterCard cross functional teams to identify new segments and product opportunities and develop value propositions to maximize penetration.
Provide the Market and Division with regular updates on regions activities and results
Support the markets in coaching/developing staff as needed
All About You
University degree with strong experience in a business development role in Commercial cards space - deep knowledge of T&E, B2B & SME products and their value to customers
Ability to independently drive business objectives in a matrix environment. Liaise with Senior Management in MasterCard (Region, Market) to ensure alignment of overall objectives
Strong quantitative/analytical skills and ability to effectively manage customer data (including region data as well as financials
Negotiation and presentation skills both written and verbal
Strong commercial orientation
