Indonesia is a strategically important market for Mastercard with the sheer size of the population and the importance of the economy in the South East Asia region

Mastercard has increased its investment in the market both in terms of infrastructure and people to deliver growth in share as well as business volumes in using digital payment modes.

This position Level 7 €“ Senior Analyst, Market Development is based in Jakarta and reports to the Vice President, Indonesia Market Development

Market Development is responsible for driving Mastercard's digital initiatives and partnership programs to accelerate share shift and revenue with issuers, acquirers, merchants and business partners, leveraging Mastercard products and services.


This position is responsible for:

Developing market and customer insights through research and analysis to support sales and business development initiatives with key customers (issuers, acquirers, merchants, business partners)

Helping to drive strategic partner engagements with traditional and non-traditional customers, by developing compelling sales pitches and holistic customer story boards, supporting customer workshops, and partnering with country and cross-functional division/regional teams

Supporting the Indonesia Market Development team to drive strategic initiatives, including growing acceptance, strategic merchant partnerships, scaling Digital, driving commercial payments and winning new business with customers
