Director, Business Development
This is a key position in the South Asia Business Development/Account Management team and focuses on enabling business growth, share and revenue working with banks, key digital players, commerce enablers and technology partners.
This is a unique position pivoting between facing external and internal customers and will be instrumental in helping identify new business opportunities, collaborating with cross functional stakeholders in developing relevant value propositions and GTM plans and tracking performance against objectives.
The incumbent will be required to partner with customer & MasterCard cross functional teams to create and implement impactful payments programs that maximize segment penetration & drive MasterCard and customer revenues.
You may be the right candidate if youre strong on initiative, commercially pragmatic business developer with strong communication and influencing skills.
Deliver against volume, revenue, penetration and growth targets for identified initiatives across the Division with new and existing customers. These could be across customers or identified strategic verticals.
Drive the ideation, development of customer segment specific value propositions that deliver products and services that address customer needs.
Strategic program management for large business initiatives and partnerships.
Develop GTM plans for new business opportunities and products
Develop pitches and strategy to penetrate new customers and strike strategic partnerships.
Supports the Sales team in developing and renewing functional capabilities and skills
Influences Customer account strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and targeting recommendations
Develop strong working relationships with key influencers at customer banks and with MasterCard support teams /business partners in Market Development, Global Products & Solutions, MasterCard Technologies, Law & Franchise Integrity, Risk Management, etc. to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support.
Significant experience in Business Development in the Payments/BFSI domain required.
B2B customer management experience will be advantage.
Proven track record of results revenue and share.
Good understanding of buying behavior and sales processes
Superior communication and influencing capabilities at a senior level in client organizations
Good analytical and structured thinking skills
Ability to thrive in an individual contributor role
