Job Title

Health , Safety and Environmental Manager

Overview: •

Operate / Manage the Health, Safety & Environmental management system in Vocalink in line requirements of / in order to maintain ISO 45001 & 14001 certifications including all internal (pre) and external audits, compliance and recertifications

• Ensure all HSE documentation is maintained in agreed repositories, working with employees to create, review and update where necessary in line with legislation, changes or regular agreed reviews.

• Establish and drive the HS&E agenda within Vocalink, providing direction to all levels in the company in support of the HSE objectives and commitments.

• Host scheduled visits from the ISO auditor ensuring all evidence is available and provided to ensure re-certification and compliance standards

• Ensure that compliance audits of the HSE system are carried out

• Monitor and record data in order to measure the ongoing success of opportunities to reduce energy consumption, carbon footprint and improve waste recycling – supporting the achievement of pre-agreed targets

• Implement processes to better manage the administration and planning needs of a division or department.

• Perform business planning, monthly reporting, administration and management of department.

• Bachelor's degree Business or equivalent experience.

• HSE qualification for example NEBOSH.

• 5 – 8 years of experience applying extended expertise of HSE principles, theories and concepts.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Proven skills communicating with all levels of management.

• The position will require a solid background in Health Safety and Environmental
