Job Title

Director, New Product Development Innovation and Operations

MasterCard Data & Services enables customers across industries and geographies to make smarter decisions and reach better outcomes with a tailored portfolio of solutions beyond the transaction.

We empower customers to make better data-driven decisions by unlocking a holistic view of consumer behavior beyond their four walls and distilling actionable insights from data

We harness the power of real-time, anonymized, aggregated transaction data; powerful software platforms; and a wealth of expertise

We work with financial institutions, retailers, telecommunications organizations, travel companies, and more

All About the Role

• Support development of new products, work with Product VPs, designers,

engineers, and other cross functional disciplines to build new data-driven

services

•Support the end-to-end product development process from concept to

commercialization, with a focus on desirability, feasibility, and viability, using a

disciplined, agile gating process.

•Develop processes to run product development efficiently and prioritize

product decisions

•Build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external

stakeholders

•Manages overall Innovation Management & Governance Processes including:

Ideas collection, reviews, intake, and overall studio process.

•Works with SVP, VP to set up and manage all idea reviews requiring EVP

approvals, Cross Functional Senior Leadership Approvals, Program Cabinet

Reviews, etc.

•Manages in-take process for NPD and supports appropriate staffing decisions

to execute, etc.

•Manages Incremental Funding requests with Finance, and investment

prioritization process

•Manages tracking of all NPD initiatives per investment

•Supports the overall management of the D&S Innovation Program. This

includes working with Program Co-Founders with Cabinet Administration.

Develops and maintain supporting materials around Cabinet Charter on

product decisions.

Highly motivated candidate with exceptional communication and organizational skills with an ability drive a systematic process, facilitate decision making, etc.

Ability to drive an innovation process seamlessly with multiple work streams and stakeholders

Strong strategic thinker with ability to quickly assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, focus on relevant facts, and execute a plan

Experience with Investment Prioritization, budgeting for new products

Experience in project management / consulting / product management / product development / operations business management / process improvement

Likes to delve into details, but can see the big picture

Experience managing innovation processes

Nimbly respond to what the business needs. Execute on urgent needs, be a sounding board for team members, serve as a connection point for incoming (and outgoing) team requests.
