Job Title: Vice President Product Development, Crypto and Blockchain, EEMEA

Overview

The Blockchain and Digital Assets group is leading the development and execution of Mastercard's crypto strategy, a critical pillar of the company's broader multi-rail strategy to enable consumer choice in payments and transaction services.

We are looking for a senior and highly experienced individual to take on the role of Vice President Product Development – Blockchain and Digital Assets for the Easter Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (EEMEA). The candidate will leverage their knowledge of blockchain and digital assets, their understanding of the needs of the EEMEA markets, and their strategic and business acumen to define Mastercard’s Blockchain & Digital Assets strategy for the region, and to drive and execute key initiatives under this strategy. Their portfolio will include but is not limited to crypto cards, crypto acceptance and approval rates, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), and blockchain-based payment solutions. The candidate will be responsible for the regional Blockchain & Digital Assets KPIs, and work with cross-functional teams to track and drive a pipeline of opportunities. The candidate will also leverage their knowledge and expertise in Blockchain & Digital Assets to educate key internal and external Mastercard stakeholders, and to provide specialist support in customer conversations and engagements.

Role

• Define and execute the regional EEMEA Blockchain & Digital Assets strategy

• Carry the key regional performance KPIs related to Blockchain & Digital Assets

• Work with global and regional teams to drive product development

• Contribute to global and regional product roadmap strategy and feature requirements across teams

• Lead go to market efforts for the region for Mastercard's blockchain product suite

• Represent Mastercard in the capacity of a Blockchain & Digital Assets SME in speaking engagements and executive forums

• Provide subject matter expertise and specialist support to regional teams in partner and customer conversations and engagements

• Stay informed of the overall market landscape, including new developments, competitors, and potential partners via ongoing research, and keep key global and regional stakeholders informed of significant updates
