Data Centre Engineering Apprentice
The Vocalink UK Data Centre Engineering Team is looking for a Data Centre Engineering Apprentice to continue our resource development programme, currently running for the past 11yrs and which has successfully produced 9 fully qualified DC Engineers . The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, highly motivated, willing follow our training and certification path, with a keeness to learn and develop new skills.
In this technical position, you will:
• Develop learning and skills to support the Vocalink Data Centre Enviornment from both an operational and project standpoint.
• Follow the Appenticeship programme and acquire recognised City and Guilds qualifications.
• Develop fault finding and rectification skills.
• Aspire to become a fully qualified and recognised shift based DC Engineer.
• Work as a team member but also take on indivudal challenges/tasks.
All About You
• Have demonstrated a clear interest within an Engineering subject, either through edcuation or interests.
• Willing to attend college for required courses.
• Good team player and communicator.
• Always looking for potential solutions to solve problems
• Be skilled at explaining technical problems succinctly and clearly
