Overview

The Product Development team in Mastercard Payment Services Denmark is looking for a Product Development Specialist to our team of professionals who are developing our portfolio of B2B and B2C products (e.g. Betalingsservice) and working with future payment solutions in close collaboration with Mastercard colleagues across the world.

Role

As a Product Development Specialist in Mastercard Payment Services, you will

• Support our Business Managers in researching and analysing new capability candidates

• Take ownership of your assigned product and service capabilities – and curiously search for minor and larger improvements in close collaboration with our business managers

• Take ownership of the capability development pipeline deliveries - create and translate business process flows and end-user flows into features/functional requirements etc.

• Ensure business requirements and deliveries are clearly defined and usable across products and domains

• Support Development team(s) with timely business clarifications, feature creation, prioritization and participation in relevant scrum events and Big Room Planning events (PI Planning)

• Be inclusive and communicative to all stakeholders and colleagues

Your official title will be Senior Specialist, Product Development

All About You

The ideal candidate for these positions should:

• have 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Manager with a proven track record in software development

• capability and feature breakdown into workable items are second nature to you

• preferably have experience working with APIs and Microservices Architecture

• have a structured mindset and the ability and interest for understanding the technical side of our products and combining it with your commercial skills

• have experience with Agile, SAFe and Big Room Planning

• preferably have experience with Jira and Confluence – or similar agile tools

• be able to execute independently and feel pride in taking accountability for own tasks

• be fluent in English (speaking and writing) and preferably be fluent in Danish (speaking and writing)

• available for short-term travel activities

Additional capabilities and experience:

• Work experience from position(s) within the finance, banking, or IT-sector

• Understanding of the payment eco-system

• Strong communication skills (writer and speaker) and able to communicate complex information effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders

COVID-19 Considerations
