Senior Engineer Web Developer-2

Overview

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to help us improve Priceless.com, the premier consumer and partner hub for Mastercard, providing access to exclusive benefits, offers, and unforgettable experiences for hundreds of millions of Mastercard cardholders. Our mission is to make using a Mastercard something truly Priceless.

About the Role

You will be a key member of the Development team working on full-stack web software engineering, applying your broad knowledge of modern web software technologies to design and build leading-edge, easy-to-use web interfaces and web services that drive our sophisticated platform. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who will proactively seek ways to improve our product, software architecture, and development process.

All About You

• BS degree or MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science

• Good knowledge of: Javascript, PHP, Web Application Frameworks (ideally Yii Framework), node.js, SQL database design and programming, MySQL, HTML, AJAX, Web servers, and Web Services

• Some knowledge of data warehousing, Unix/Linux system administration, Unix shell scripting, Python, AWS, Web Secure programming would be a big "plus"

• Some experience building SQL and/or NoSQL driven web applications

• Solid data analysis/database skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding of web technologies, web design, and web architectures.

• The ability to work with a diverse team, understand and interpret customer needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
