Job Title

Manager, Business Development (Merchant Solutions)

Overview

The objective of China Merchants & Commerce team is to partner with key merchant sectors such as retail, F&B, airlines, hotels and insurance to drive our share growth in payment, services and top-of-wallet preferences.

Role

• Explore and maintain merchant relationship to develop partnership including but not limit to supporting core business, domestic & cross border acceptance, cobrand, marketing campaign, data services…

• Working closely with the China team, regional team and other functional teams to drive business development and achieve company targets of revenue, as well as supporting core business

• Influence customers’ strategy by using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations

All About You

• Have ten year plus of experience in business development with merchants or corporate clients, especially large-scale B2B account management;

• Clear business mindset to understand the business model of multiple industries like airlines, marketplaces, retail and internet companies

• Solid knowledge of payment eco system in domestic and cross-border;

• Native Chinese language speaker and strong English language skills

• Ability to travel
