Overview

The Insights and Analytics team is looking for a Director of B2B Insights to build data driven products that offer actionable market intelligence on local B2B payments ecosystems, the changes that are occurring within them, and the factors that are driving these changes. You will help Advisors to separate the signal from the noise as we build our suite of B2B payments insights in markets around the world. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in statistical analysis and insights creation, and will be familiar with all the various different datasets that can help shape Mastercard’s understanding of B2B market ecosystems and rationale for B2B payment choices.

Role

In this role, which will entail a mix of client facing and internal work, you will:

• Take the lead role in the creation of B2B Insights products

• Determine Mastercard’s ability to provide B2B insights on a market by market basis

• Work with resources in the CoE and elsewhere to build and package B2B market insights

• Support sales and marketing efforts for B2B Insights products, including supporting customer sales calls

• Support the creation of bundled consulting offers derived from B2B market insights and consultants’ delivery of the same

• Lead the creation of thought leadership and works for publication on the topic of B2B market insights

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of global B2B payments products, including but not limited to: commercial card, virtual cards, payments automation providers, B2B focused fintechs, treasury strategies, bank treasury products

• Be a demonstrated strong statistical thinker, and have extensive experience combining multiple datasets from different sources in order to derive new insights

• Be comfortable working with all commonly used statistical analysis tools

• Be an able to communicate clearly and concisely at the executive level, both when speaking and presenting and when writing

• Demonstrate their ability to manage a team of resources without line reporting authority

• Have demonstrated experience managing customer relationships in a consultative role

• Have demonstrated experience managing budgeting and sales pipeline processes

• Thrive in an environment where day to day job requirements can be ambiguous
