This position is for our Relaunch Your Career Program.

Our Relaunch Your Career program is a unique career development opportunity for professionals who want to rejoin the workforce after a career break. Senior Technical Program Manager, Data & Services Technology Team

As a Senior Technical Program Manager on the D&S Technology team, you’ll hold a valued role within a rapidly growing team inside one of the world's most successful organizations, working closely with experienced and driven technologists to solve problems as a team. Mastercard D&S next generation platform blends industry-leading analytics, advanced software architecture, and the latest web technologies to face these problems, analyzing terabytes of data in the process. Our software is required to effectively decipher analytically complex insights from these problems, on which businesses base multi-million dollar business decisions.

As a member of the Business Operations Engineering team, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across business units to drive the successful development of internal tools and systems to drive forward the organization, and specifically the Insights & Enablement group which helps us make better, faster decisions using data, analytics and technology.

Technical Program Managers work across small, flexible teams. There are no rigid organizational structures, and each team uses processes that work the best for that team and their projects.

Position Responsibilities:

As a member of the Business Operations Engineering team, you will lead and participate in data management aspects of internal reporting to drive value to our Delivery, Sales, Marketing, Engineering teams and beyond, as well as contribute to and foster a high-performance collaborative workplace.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will:

Conceptualize, rationalize, and drive multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work across the portfolio in our scrum execution model

Dive as deep as you want into the tech stack, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems

Contribute to the strategies, design choices, and infrastructure necessary to build comprehensive believable and achievable execution plans to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities for our customers

Drive the execution of a feature through the full stack or may drive a project which spans multiple teams and integrations, reporting meaningful status along the way.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy

Experience defining and building software products at scale with a deep understanding of those platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.

Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs in agile delivery models (scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Enjoys diving deep to understand of the platforms capabilities and underlying technologies.

Proven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams

Can debate the delivery strategy with business teams, architects, engineers, and designers

Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity

Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization

BS in engineering, computer science or related discipline.

Technical program delivery experience including time developing and testing software
