Summary of the Role

The role is intended for recent university graduates based in Croatia, looking to join an international and growing payments company. Overarching purpose of the role is to assist in forging closer business alliances with relevant market players (financial and non-financial institutions) and assist with the sales of MasterCard€™s products and solutions. Further responsibilities may include assisting country management with the following areas: marketing, business development, account management, government relations, product and innovation.

Key Accountabilities

Help execute country strategy by ensuring support in key projects and innovation efforts

Office management (temporary)

Sales pipeline management and control (Salesforce), contractual flow control (including Ariba) and financial flow management (FMT)

Business and marketing event management from internal (VIVO) and external organization point of view (agency management)

Develop business cases for identified opportunities, develop supporting sales materials/presentations for business and marketing purposes

Relationship Management

Qualifications and Experience

-Economics or Business Studies, min. 2 years remaining until end of University

-Very good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

-Fluent in both English and Croatian, additional languages a plus

-Drivers license a plus

-Has good organization and strong communication (both written and spoken) skills, leading to active participation/contribution in team settings

-Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure

-Able to work independently on daily basis and take responsibility after its actions.
