Junior Data Analyst (Rosetta Plan - first employment contract)

Overview:

Customer Delivery Europe is part of the Global Customer Delivery and European IMK organization and plays a critical role ensuring the flawless delivery of Mastercard products and solutions for our customers.

We partner with all global and regional business units to provide value through our innovation and expertise; whilst delivering customer solutions flawlessly. We make it happen!

The Product Delivery group works with the Products teams and all functional groups involved in the delivery chain in order to transform MasterCard delivery capabilities into a source of differentiation.

Customer Delivery Product Delivery also embeds key learnings in the delivery work and initiates, improves and drives efficiency and quality in the delivery process.

His/her day-to-day activities will relate to optimizing our existing delivery processes. This can be achievable by using various tools, automating data & reporting and helping perform ad-hoc queries to our data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

Provide data reports with analysis on an ad-hoc or recurrent basis, either for external customers or internal across various departments.

Understand what internal processes need additional automation and tools to make the reporting and analysis of data more efficient.

Capture and define the business needs prior to the creation of a tool made for automation purposes. Get full consensus on these business requirements.

Prepare and analyse reports on our key business indicators, whilst performing accuracy checks. Participate in projects related to these management reports.

Ideally, create fully automated and user friendly tools & reports that can inform CD users€™ decisions in a time-efficient and simplistic manner.

Promote the usage of these tools within the organization, get them validated and fine-tuned prior to widespread use.

Maintain these tools when needed as processes evolve and change.

Requirements:

Eligible for Rosetta Plan (first employment contract)

Fluent in English.

Graduate of a Business, Financial or Technical background (i.e. engineering or IT).

Strong analytical mind with a good problem-solving ability.

Enjoys working with data and numbers, ensuring high accuracy.

Able to think of ways to improve current processes, and bringing those ideas to fruition.

Team player, willing to share ideas and take on board others€™ suggestions.

Knowledge of one of more programming languages, the following being an asset:

oSQL €“ most important

oAdvanced Excel/Access, including VBA

oKnowledge of any Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Microsoft€™s Power BI.

oSalesforce
