Vice President, Software Engineering, Digital Security & Technology
In this position, you will be responsible for developing new systems and services for enabling the next generation of Mastercards Digital Native Architecture. You will establish and lead a team of technology professionals to build and launch a portfolio of software platforms/services that enable multiple digital, loyalty and safety & security products offered by Mastecard. You will also be responsible for helping deliver and refining the technology strategy, financial planning, establishing delivery plans and overseeing the execution and delivery of program objectives. You will also establish and manage technology relationship with vendors and service integrators and other third party service providers.

Responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions for B2B payment services.
Supervises and coaches teams responsible for the Software Development of a portfolio of shared business services that are used across multiple products and domains.
Works closely with business owners and other technology teams to define the roadmap for owned services and drive execution.
Helps identify, coach and groom top talent and pro-actively develops employees as organizational resources and the respective function's compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal process.
Provide strategic thinking and leadership related to a wide range of applications and systems, or software-development methodologies.
Set the vision for an environment of ingenuity and creativity and acts as a role model for others in challenging the status quo to encourage innovation.
Drive change across processes, practices and technology within the organization by building a high caliber team that can deliver effectively and be a role model for the rest of the organization.
Help deliver, refine and communicate the vision of the next generation architecture to the rest of the organization
Job Specific Experiences:
Technology delivery experience with successful track record and demonstrated thought-leadership and cross-functional influence and partnership within an agile development environment.
Familiar with current technology trends, Cloud based development and thorough understanding of development methodologies and standards.
Bachelor/Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with exposure to Technology Systems Delivery.
Experienced in leading and delivering large projects from concept to implementation including selecting talent and planning/allocating resources across multiple geographies and functions.
Comfortable with working in a fast paced environment, with some ambiguity and evolving products, services, and approaches as necessary. Experience working in startups would be a plus.
Architecture and Design: Knowledge of current architecture paradigms and styles include micro-services, event-driven, asynchronous
Experience in Web services, APIs, SaaS, Containerization, Eventually Consistent Systems, Software Defined Infrastructure and Application Security.
Project Management: Proven ability to develop project plans for streamlined execution. Prioritizes various work streams and customer needs. Ability to identify, effectively assess and address risk within the context of project.
Has experience running technology teams as a business with the ability to drive operational excellence and financial results by focusing on delivering customer value with cost efficiency.
Has the ability to define and execute on a tangible future state architecture and drive change by fostering enthusiasm and a sense of purpose.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
Proven ability to build high functioning, creative, execution oriented teams.
