Director, Special Projects (PMO Leader)
Operating worldwide, the MasterCard Enterprise Partnership (MEP) team leverages MasterCards assets to open up new business in non-traditional sectors.
The MEP team partners with industry leading organizations to orchestrate new value, drive new solutions, or effect new partnerships better serve end-customers, markets and ecosystems.
The non-card, business-to-business (B2B) payments space represents a significant new opportunity for Mastercard; credit card-based payments amount to less than 1% of the value of payments made between businesses. If MasterCard is to deliver new value in this space, it needs to think big and out of the box to win the trust of end customers.
The MEP team has been developing partnerships, a platform vision and an approach to address historic pain points in this market, as well as to create new value delivery opportunity at multiple levels in ways that go beyond mere payment.
The MEP team requires a technical project manager to lead its Project Management Office (PMO) and coordinate the disparate players and deliverables required for a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) launch, and beyond, of its internal initiative. The PMO will be comprised of representatives from Mastercard, its strategic partner, third party business networks, software and solution providers, B2B-related banking and financial institution relationships, and others in order to orchestrate a value proposition that resonates with corporate buyers and corporate suppliers.
