Sr. Principal, Data & Information Security Practice
Mastercard Advisors is the professional services & consulting arm of Mastercard and is a key component to Mastercard's differentiation, innovation and success. Mastercard Advisors support Financial Institutions, Retailers and Commerce, Acquirers, Processors and Governments around the world to solve complex business problems using unrivaled data, consulting and execution capabilities.
The Advisors Safety & Security Practice is responsible for creating incremental revenue for Advisors and differentiating Mastercard in the Financial Services, Retail/Commerce and Government/Development verticals, leveraging Advisors security expertise, data as well as analytical tools and in partnership with complementary Mastercard services
The Safety & Security Practice will be responsible for developing configurable offerings, solving our clients enterprise security issues. Leveraging the existing business development and pipeline management discipline, the lead will work with in-market sales, delivery and product teams and vertical leads, to develop detailed go to market plans and lead colleagues in the sales and delivery of related work. In addition, the Safety & Security Practice will articulate the enterprise security perspective for Advisors and represent Advisors with senior clients and at top tier forums and conferences.
Significantly grow Advisors enterprise security services revenue with enterprise security offerings leveraging subject matter expertise, data and the breadth of MA services.
Design and achieve additional targets on key MA Safety & Security related metrics (e.g. solution sales / implementation support, card usage impact, customer performance)
Create configurable and scalable Advisors sales and delivery offerings targeting the most important enterprise security client business issues that can be addressed with Advisors/MA capabilities, spanning:
oProtecting the transaction: building on existing core competencies in authorizations and fraud optimization, directly with clients and in partnership with relevant MA departments (e.g. ESS)
oIndustry transformation: anticipate and develop scalable offerings to help stakeholders meet and exploit key industry changes (e.g. 2 factor authentication, EMV rollout)
oEnterprise-wide strategies: supporting clients with strategic and tactical support to improve overall enterprise security, addressing a comprehensive breadth of topics (e.g. data architecture and related people, processes and tools assets; cyber security, intelligence sharing) and the development of new technologies and protocols (distributed ledgers, monitoring systems etc)
Develop resource requirements, drive recruitment and lead a global team of enterprise security experts leading Advisors and Advisors work with MA in Enterprise security execution
Work with Mastercard ESS Product Team, Customer Fraud, Enterprise Security and other complementary businesses to drive incremental new sources of Advisors revenue and create additional competitive advantage for MA..
Drive development of Enterprise security thought-leadership in Advisors and Mastercard
Global travel as needed to drive consistent approach and execution across regions
Reports to the Practices Group lead within Advisors
All About You
Experience working for an Enterprise security company or consulting to the Enterprise security industry; sought out by clients and industry experts
Experience in a management consulting role (senior manager or higher) preferably with a strategy consultancy but could be in an internal consultative role
Leadership and strategic-visioning skills, as well as management and supervisory skills, including the ability to effectively manage a professional staff. A track record of successfully implementing strategic plans is strongly desired
Very persuasive in all interactions with internal clients demonstrating high emotional intelligence by identifying the best ways to communicate and influence across levels
Powerful presenter who is highly credible and persuasive, reads audiences well and reacts accordingly
Graduate degree preferred; undergraduate degree required
