Sr. Analyst, Core Products Business Administration


The mission of the Core Products Strategy and Operations team is to support the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in strategy development and business operations across Mastercard€™s Core Products. In addition, the team seeks to create efficiency, improve alignment and support change.

Supports workstreams and projects to develop and enhance strategies across Core Products, working collaboratively with global/regional leads, their teams and the Enterprise Strategy team

Conducts research, fact-based analysis (both quantitative and qualitatively) to develop strategic insights

Contributes thought leadership on strategic focus areas, with strong interest across payments and technology

Special Projects:

Supports operational priorities of the CPO (e.g. bundling, digital enablement, sales enablement, product innovation, development of go-to-market support tools and practices)

Works with Core Products teams to gather and analyze information / data and support project execution

Supports development of outputs (i.e. presentations, memos, etc.) to communicate outcomes of special projects to the CPO and other managers within and outside of Core Products

Business Administration and Operations:

Supports CPO€™s internal and external facing communications responsibilities (e.g. quarterly operating reviews, quarterly earnings, investor day, etc.)

Supports coordination of projects across Core Products and the wider organization (GP&S, Regions, Support Functions) to ensure alignment across key operational and strategic workstreams

Supports best practice sharing, process, and operations improvements across Core Products (e.g. pipeline management, sales enablement)

All About You

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to execute quantitative and qualitative analyses, synthesize data, and draft recommendations

General knowledge of how business processes, practices and products influence function projects; ability to translate strategic conclusions into actionable outputs

Demonstrates knowledge of Mastercard and the payments industry

Results and execution oriented, with ablity to deliver results on time with limited management

Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams at the same time, in a structured way

Strong communications and interpersonal skills with ability to build credibility with colleagues across multiple levels and disciplines; team oriented, collaborative, and flexible

Experience creating and delivering presentations and communications for various audiences Proficient in Microsoft Office products
