Director, Product Management Strategy & Design - National Banks, North America
The Core Consumer Credit North America Markets (NAM) Group focuses on company-wide efforts in driving overall transaction volume and profitable revenue growth for Mastercard's Consumer Credit portfolios in the region. This group actively collaborates with internal teams across Mastercard, and external parties including customers (the Issuers), merchants, and new strategic alliance partners to build unique value propositions
The individual will be responsible to deliver GDV, share and revenue objectives for national accounts.
Design product management strategy for credit that helps account teams deliver unique value propositions to issuers to drive share and revenue goals.
Design, create and innovate innovative product solutions targeted to capturing current and future card spending volume within the segment.
The individual will have accountability for developing, designing and executing product benefits and experience for national accounts segments, end-end product management for the products designed, the go-to-market strategy, pricing, technology to ensure usage and exemplary consumer experience thereby building preference for MA products.
The individual will have to interact with Startpath, Operations &Technology, Customer Delivery, and third parties to understand the technical capabilities and deployment of those capabilities to design unique products.
The individual will also be responsible for managing the product life cycle of the products and for supporting the Sales and Business Development Managers with presentations and customized product development requests.
Develop a 'Life Cycle Management' approach to constantly enhance/ modify/ upgrade products & benefits in line with market/ issuer/ segment needs to ensure maximum profitability to Mastercard through usage and retention
The individual will also be responsible for designing and driving the end-end product cost and revenue benchmarks of the existing Credit programs and for supporting Product, Architect and Account Managers with analytical outcomes and plans to reduce costs and improve revenue at a product and issuer level.
Monitor the landscape of competitive products and industry trends, understanding their implications for Mastercard and suggest action steps as required
Ensure the development of innovative and differentiated product benefits to meet current and emerging needs of Mastercard customers
Collaborate with Consumer and Customer Marketing leadership to support the launch of programs & benefits as well as work with the Marketing team in development of any collateral
