Job Title

Director, Commercial Cross-Border Products

Reporting to the SVP, Global Commercial Cross Border Products and Special Projects, this position is responsible for defining what products and/ solutions needed for Mastercard to address the approximately $20T+ opportunity in cross-border commercial, disbursement and P2P flows.

The individual will also support the development and on-going management of the products.

Additionally, this role will also support the development of other new products and solutions in conjunction with the Mastercard Enterprise Partnership team.

Role

Support creation of the cross-border commercial strategy for Mastercard based on an understanding of the industry value chain, customer needs, existing pain points

Develop and manage business plans for new business and opportunities for cross-border commercial based on the defined strategy

Drive development of new products for key segments, define a product (roadmap) for Commercial cross-border payments

Partner with internal and external stakeholders across product management and O&T to manage product development and delivery

Deliver a product with fully commercialized product with all necessary features and functionality to support realization of the business plan by regional teams

Support and enable regional product teams to enable go-to-market and sales of the products

Support €œspecial projects€ in commercial based on the guidance of Global Head of Commercial Products and SVP of Commercial Products

All About You

Ability to think logically, use frameworks to organize your thinking and ask probing questions

Have an innate curiosity, a desire seek out information, to ask follow-up questions and an ability to do so in a constructive manner

Strong analytical and modeling skills to turn logical thinking and curiosity into actionable / quantifiable insight

Experience and / or understanding of broad areas in payments, commercial and correspondent banking, treasury services, foreign exchange is a nice to have, but not a necessity.

Have the interest and ability to engage cross-functionally and collaborate with various asset owners at Mastercard (e.g., Mastercard Enterprise Partnership Team / Digital Products and Labs / Technology / Legal / Internal Treasury / Other Product Owners)€¦

€¦.and with thought leaders outside Mastercard in areas such as Blockchain, ACH, ERP Systems and Commercial & Correspondent Banking to seek out insights and follow developments in these areas

Strong written and verbal skills to communicate complex ideas to senior audiences
