Reporting Infrastructure Lead


Commercial Global Reporting team provides reporting capability to our external stakeholders as part of our SmartData application

The Business Intelligence tool uses Java, BIRT, .NET and WebFOCUS technologies and it provides data insight and analytical features that helps customers to make smart business decisions

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage complex clustered Web and Windows based reporting environments and researches alternative technical solutions for changing business needs


Individual Contributor

Experience in leading and managing Web infrastructure (which includes load balancing, cryptovault, F5 configurations and SSL certificates) in a complex clustered environment

Additional knowledge with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools like WebFOCUS, MSBI and Business Objects etc. is a plus

Experience in debugging applications that uses .NET and J2EE technologies

Basic knowledge of UNIX and shell scripting

Strong Oracle and SQL programming skills

Good understanding & experience with software development in an Agile environment

Experience in deployment code and writing implementation plans

Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise

Develop overall strategic technical plan and create architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps

Assist in examining commercially available and forthcoming industry technologies related to area of expertise

Research on current and upcoming technologies and application appropriate frameworks and provide recommendations to Management

Perform POCs (Proof of Concept) and help Department in the selection of Technology

Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and able to function under pressure in an independent environment along with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.

Strong communication skills €“ both verbal and written €“ and strong relationship, collaboration skills and organizational skills

Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks and tools and support multiple concurrent activities and to interface with external / internal resources, working as a member of a matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team
