Sales, Account Manager
The main responsibility of this role is to lead the successful execution of existing and new business initiatives with retailers and telcos leveraging all mastercards assets and applications for the Caribbean region.
This role is primarily customer facing, and is focused on ensuring the successful execution of mastercard initiatives in the Caribbean across Digital Payments, Prepaid, Credit or Debit Cards by partnering with mastercard non-tradition clients, such as Retailers, Telcos, Remittances Houses, Program Managers, Wallet / Digital Payment Providers, Building Societies and/or any other player who brings scalable and innovative payment solutions.

Deploy a strategy to benefit our business partners, consumers, government and communities
Identify new opportunities by leveraging mastercard technology, transaction information, tools, and other resources.
Design, develop and lead the account business by understanding and knowing payments industry trends, players, products, technologies, etc., identifying business opportunities and delivering strong selling processes, leveraging mastercard´s products & services value proposition to manage account pain points, by understanding their competitive advantage, strategy and milestones.
Increase mastercard relevance (share and P&L participation) in the account through customized solutions that are aligned with the account strategy, and with sound financial results, aligning and interrelating mastercard business strategy with the accounts strategies, managing a successful roadmap through a strong relationship with the account and ensure alignment with all mastercard internal areas, managing and leading internal mastercard teams (Products, Marketing, etc.) to design tailor-made solutions for the account, aligned with client's strategies and financial requirements.
Increase mastercard´s share in the account by identifying business opportunities, negotiating at Director level, and leading selling processes throughout all its stage, being responsible for data quality of presentations, information gathering and analytics in the sales process, including Salesforce.
Ensure portfolio performance meets annual targets by managing its life cycle, being responsible for portfolio P&L performance (drivers and revenue lines), optimizing mastercard portfolio performance by negotiating and leading on a daily basis at Director level within Products and Portfolio Management account teams, contributing in defining the necessary actions to improve performance (including asset selling/monetization), being the face to face day to day relationship with all areas of the account, other than the Cards teams: Marketing, Legal, Procurement, Risk, etc.
Lead teams on his/her responsibility through ensuring performance, development, coaching and growth, tracking and managing the team to make sure they accomplish the objectives and grow within the company, aligned with senior sales account management level of the organization.
